WELCOME TO U.L.T.R.A

The
acronym stands for the
Universal Love Teaching and Research Association.
U.L.T.R.A. is not a church or religion. It is
not an organization. It is not exclusive, and does not have formal "members,"
although anyone is welcome to join at any time, simply by taking on our shared
cause. That cause is the promotion of compassion, charity, kindness, and other
forms of Love.
But if U.L.T.R.A. is not an organzation or church,
what is it? It is a loose federation, a network of free and independent people
who have decided to come together to make the world a better place. U.L.T.R.A.
has no rigid dogmas, no doctrines that "must be believed." It has
no formal leaders, no divisions between "leaders" and "followers."
It is nonmaterialistic, and functions according to the economics of sufficiency,
emphasizing simplicity and nongreed. It gives each person total freedom to
adopt anyphilosophy that she chooses. It is international and intercultural.
Regarding religion, we welcome all types-- Catholics, Protestants, Buddhists,
Hindus, Jews, Moslems, nature-faiths, etc. Agnostics and atheists are also
welcome.
Still, as
might be suspected or intuited, U.L.T.R.A.
does have a theme. This is what unites us. Our theme is cosmic Love--
the Love expressed for all creatures and all creation. Our teachings follow
the general very liberal and elastic teachings of intercultural mysticism.
Those teachings are: "God" is the Core of all Mind, and
lives within, and is not a childish "big daddy in the sky." Our
mission on earth is to reflect that Supermind of Love at everyopportunity.
To do this, we must let go of fears of all kinds, commit ourselves to a better
Way, and then honestly try to live that Way twenty-four seven.
Another tool for connecting is a small monthly newsletter, the U.L.T.R.A. Newsletter and Lovelight Ezine. It is a very simple, one-sheet newsletter designed to grant a sense of cohesion, communication, welcome friendliness, and shared Love.
