The Pneumarium LoveCenter and Discussiongroup
We would like to invite everyone to attend a spiritual discussiongroup at our place. We have constructed a special room in the garage where we meet. This room is called the "Pneumarium."
This word arises
from the Greek word pneuma,
which means "spirit." It is combined
with the suffix "-arium,"
which means"place of..." as in "aquarium,
planetarium, auditorium,"
etc. So, the "Pneumarium" is
designed as a "Place of Spirit."
We believe that the Spirit is shared by all, deep in the Unconscious. Its
nature is Love. The Spirit is, in fact, nothing less than spiritual, universal
Love. This includes subsystems such as compassion, empathy, kindness, goodness,
honesty, support, tenderness, generosity, othercenteredness, and similar qualities.
So, the fuller
name for this very special place is the "Pneumarium
Lovecenter."
Our group consists of some of the best people in the local area. That is,
they are sincerely spiritual, which to us means that they are loving, kind,
and friendly.
Indeed, with the premise that "Love is spirituality, and vice-versa,"
we do not want the Pneumariumgroup to be just a bunch of strangers. It is
our idealistic but practical hope that we will all evolve together into a
real "extended family." That is, we want to become people who really,
truly care for each other. We want to be concerned for each other's lives.
We want to support each other. We want, in short, to be part of each other's
lives and hearts.
This is already
happening. We are encouraged always to stay in touch with each other and to
keep track of each other. We share quite often by telephone and email, and
by periodic visits. Also, to facilitate our growing closer, we have initiated
the "sbp," or "spiritual buds program," to try to call
each other frequently and regularly.
Another program that supports our sister/brotherhood is the "fieldtrip,"
in which members of the group take a trip to some interesting place once a
month. Among the places that we have visited is a lamafarm, a future spiritual
retreat, and a gem and mineral show.
LOVE!!!
It’s the greatest thing in this or any other universe!
It makes everybody happy.
It’s the most fun that you can have without laughing! It’s more
fun than humanly possible!
Yet Love is more than the usual “being in Love.”
It is much, much more than just sex!
Down through the centuries, a spiritual path has developed called simply “The
Way of Love.”
It is not a religion. It is the platinum thread that unites all the best in
all faiths.
The more that you can love, the more blissful, rapturous, and ecstatic you
can be!
What would it be like to love everyone, every creature, every
event, situation, environment, all the time, no matter what?
It would be glorious! It would be the very best life imaginable! Following
the Way of Love during the centuries, people have found that it is possible
to fill the whole heartmind with nothing but pure, exquisite, blissful, ecstatic
Love!
This brief intro to Love is made to introduce you to the Universal Love Teaching
and Research Association (U.L.T.R.A.) This is not a religion. This
is not a cult. This is not a church. It is a network of totally independent
men and women from all backgrounds who share a remarkable vision of a much
better world. Every act of Love is an act of worship, a sacred act.
COME
“PLAY” WITH US!
Love sounds like “work,” and it can be. But it can, and should,
also be “play”! It should be refreshing to the Soul and mind, like
cool water on a desert. At the same time, It should be as comfortable as a
nice warm bed on a winter’s eve.
We in U.L.T.R.A. are deeply concerned for each other, communicate often
with each other, phone, email, snailmail, and visit. We go places and do things
together. We are not just strangers. We are a family. As of 0902,
there are about ten of us working with this great project.
You are more
than welcome to attend any or all of our gatherings. They are designed for
superbusy people. That is why we have them only every two weeks, and then, only
on Sunday, and then, only from eleven
am through two pm. After the gathering,
you still have most of your Sunday. Recently, we have been getting together
after the gathering, and sharing music, jokes, conversation, joy, and spirituality.

One person
acts as a coordinator. (U.L.T.R.A. has no permanent or titled “leaders,”
as we are all equal: No priests, ministers, pastors, or gurus!:)
When we come together, we provide free and continuous coffee and tea. We also
share a delicious meal. The cost is zero. Free. Nada. Zilch. The price is
right!
So, why not take a small portion of one day and “invest” it in the
most important thing that you can do?
Please do come. Please bring your friends, and questions about spirituality,
metaphysics, religion, psychology, philosophy, parapsychology, and anything
related!

Here’s
how you get to the “Pneumarium”
(a word that means, “place of Spirit,” currently a pretty
room in our garage): Take I-75 to the 129 W Hamilton exit.
Take the 747 exit from it. Turn right.
About a block later, you will come to the first traffic light. (That
will be Princeton Rd.) Turn left. Go straight
for 1.5 miles, to another traffic light. That’s Liberty-Fairfield
Rd. Turn right. You will come to a major
intersection called “Route 4,” or, “Hamilton-Middletown
Rd.” (There is a Kroger’s there, and a bank, and a mobile
home park. On another corner, there is a Frisch’s restaurant.)
Go straight through that intersection, and we are the first and only house
on the right. It is a creamy yellow house up on a little knoll. The number
is 5100. When you see the “hidden drive” sign, that is in
reference to our driveway, so turn on your right blinker, and slow down a
bit. Get lost? Give us a quick call before 10:30 am on Sunday, and
