THE CLOWN PRINCE OF "SATANISM," sent in by Mick Gallagher

From the screaming loons at the Palm Beach election center to the bloodbath in Gaza, from the shores of Montezuma to David MotariÕs puppy tossing, itÕs been a hard seven yearsÉ.  I saw it coming.  I saw Mr. Executioner demagoging out of Texas and I looked at the source of the money behind him and I said to myself, ÒBush!  Head for the mountains.Ó  And, metaphorically speaking, that is what happened.

In this world, itÕs possible to put the blame where you like.  Depending on who is controlling the flow of information, so goes public perception.  I always blame the people in charge.  They are in charge to be aware of and control conditions for the benefit of whomever they serve, or-- as the case might be-- themselves.

YouÕd have to say itÕs been a drama; but itÕs also been a comedy:  bush and his malapropisms; bush and the Segeway; bush and 9/11; bush and the economy; bush and the war on terror; and, of course, bush and Cheney.   The shrub bush spent his time somewhere between Charlie Chaplin and Adolph Hitler, without the dexterity of the former or the Christian charity of the latter.  He has been the ultimate killer clown, running around in a blood-stained polka-dot outfit with a seltzer bottle in his hand.  HeÕs been John Wayne Gacy ass--raping an entire nation and probably thinking itÕs all been ÔBad JackÕ who did these things or that mind projection guy in ÒThe Dark HalfÓ!

However, I suspect that just like David Rockefeller, Rupert Murdoch and Skull Olmert-- just like the neo-cons and disinformation agents and the whole circus of political, economic and religious psychopaths-- that he knows full well what heÕs done and it arouses him to think about it!

And heÕs not done yet.  He and the people with their hands up his backside, who make him walk and talk, are not done yet.  IÕve tried to imagine if there was something that he didnÕt screw up; that they didnÕt screw up.  Whenever he could make a wrong decision, he made it! They went into every theater of human operation and pouredÉ Karo into the gas tanks.  Why?  ThatÕs the big question:  Why take the most prosperous nation on Earth and launch a terror attack on it; destroy its economy, engage in pointless wars, cause the murder of over a million people and the displacement of millions more?  Why did bush cause and create more longterm damage to the United States than all the terrorists put together??

For one example, what kind of sense does the Katrina non-response make?  I always ask myself these two questions:  Who benefits, and what do they intend?  It looks like population control to me.  It looks like someone intends severely to thin the human herd and put tighter controls on those who remain.  IÕve looked at it from a lot of angles and I donÕt see where anything else makes any sense.

Yes, of course, they want to get richer and more powerful; but whoever the prevailing psychopaths have been, thatÕs always been a part of the focus.  But this time, it looks like something more.  This time, it looks like they want to destroy the qualities in humanity that make us human.  I always looked a little askance at David IckeÕs shape shifting reptiles; but the more you think about it, it makes sense that this is just the sort of thing reptiles would do.

There isnÕt any Al Qaeda in the sense we are given to understand it and everyone who keeps throwing the name around, from the Ôunnamed government sourcesÕ to General Petraeus knows this.  Neither they nor Bin Laden had anything to do with 9/11; and the people who really committed the attack and who are the same people always mentioning Al Qaeda know this too.  Afghanistan was invaded to reactivate the opium industry and for general geo-political advantage.  Iraq happened to be on the other side of Iran, so it got invaded too. Basically, certain big time pirates and cut-throats donÕt want the people of the region to have any say about their own resources.  They donÕt want the wrong people getting paid for the resources and using the money to improve their lot.  They donÕt want freedom or democracy under any circumstances-- in the Middle East or in America.  ItÕs just business, nothing personal.

The intention of bush and Co-- or BushCo, or Deathco,Globoctopus or The Beast from Revelation-- whatever you want to call it-- the intention is a permanent underclass and unending conflict between nations, races and religions from which they profit.  Whether these men and women meet in underground tabernacles and drink the blood of a virgin kid; whether they swear an oath of allegiance to Satan or engage in wild bacchanals and mad outbursts of demonic glossolalia is immaterial.  They are Satanists nonetheless.  To paraphrase Shakespeare, ÒExcrement by any other name would smell as foul.Ó  I submit however that Bush and cohorts are practicing Satanists.  There is just too much evidence and God help so many small children if some of the rumors about Bush Sr. are true.  We know they are true of many in high places.

Is there light at the end of the tunnel?  Will those vetted by those at the top to replace them suddenly undergo a spiritual experience and usher in a new world of brotherhood and understanding?  Does a bear relieve itself in The Vatican?  Can pigs fly?

It is impossible for those who are running for high office not to know whatÕs really going on.  If they donÕt know, then they are too stupid to hold any office.  That they do know and cannot speak about it is something that I can understand.  That they do know and come into a position of power to do something about it, and do nothing, tells us all that we need to know about them!  You serve either the people who are under the illusion that they elected you or you serve the money men who put you in office.  How many exceptions have any of you seen in times past?

When the people lose their moral compass, it does not mean that somebody didnÕt steal it.  When the people lose their basic integrity, then they get a government that mirrors this.  In the history of the United States, there has never been a more incompetent and blood-thirsty ghoul than george w. bush.  ItÕs not an accident that Bill Clinton can get chummy with him on his way out of the White House. ItÕs not an accident that heÕs hanging out with Bush Sr. Each head waves on a different tentacle connected to the same dragonic body.

This is the world.  And the nature of the world is that those who have too much will never be satisfied no matter how much is added to it.  It is the nature of a fire to eat whatever you give it forever.  At no time does a fire say, ÒThanks, IÕve had enough for the moment.Ó  ThatÕs the nature of fire.  Good and evil are always around; they often change places depending on who is doing the identifying.  The key is balance.

The rich cannot get too rich and the poor cannot get too poor.  There has to be balance.  Fundamentalism cannot be allowed to rule unopposed because it will create Hell on Earth.  By contrast, total license cannot be allowed to predominate because it will create Hell on Earth.  The best government is one that is aware of balance.  The taxstructure should reflect this:  The people fighting wars should be from all classes; and war should be a last resort.  Higher education should be in the reach of all.  Health care should be no respecter of person.  ThereÕs more, but these are some of the realities that good government will address.  Good government does not put the foxes in charge of security at the hen house.  Good government does not let business set policy.  To do so is the very definition of fascism.

Sometimes, balance has to be restored; and when the people have no leaders, then the people must lead.  Let us not forget March 19th and what it implies:  Your leaders and those who would be your leaders are almost exclusively "whores and thieves."  A message must be sent; and balance must be restored.  The right people should be put in jail and a great many others released.  You must hold these bloodthirsty entities to account or you are complicit in their actions.  And, much worse, those actions will continue, first on others and then on you.

CHUCKLES AND LAUGHS: HUMORTHERAPY

PAINTING THE PORCH, sent in by Maureen Dwyer

A teenage girl, wanting to earn some extra money for the summer, decided
to hire herself out as a 'handy-woman' and started canvassing a nearby
wealthy neighborhood.  She went to the first house, and asked the owner whether he had any odd jobs.

"Well, I guess I could use somebody to paint my porch," he said.  "How much?"

     Delighted, she responded, "fifty bucks?"?"

He agreed and told her that everything she needed was in the garage.

His wife said, "Does she realize that our porch goes ALL the way around the house?"

He responded, "That's a bit untrusting, isn't it?"

She replied, "You're right. I guess I'm starting to believe all those dumb blonde jokes weÕve been getting by email lately."

Later, the blonde girl came to the door to collect her money.

"You're finished already?" the startled man asked.

"Yes," the blonde replied, "and I even had paint left over, so I gave it two
coats."

Impressed, he reached into his pocket for the $50 along with a $10 tip.

"And by the way," she added, "it's not a Porch, it's a Lexus."

Let's face it - English is a crazy language. There is no egg in eggplant, nor ham in hamburger; neither apple nor pine in pineapple. English muffins weren't invented in England or French fries in France . Sweetmeats are candies while sweetbreads, which aren't sweet, are meat. We take English for granted. But if we explore its paradoxes, we find that quicksand can work slowly, boxing rings are square and a guinea pig is neither from Guinea nor is it a pig.

And why is it that writers write but fingers don't fing, grocers don't groce and hammers don't ham? If the plural of tooth is teeth, why isn't the plural of booth, beeth? One goose, 2 geese. So one moose, 2 meese? One index, 2 indices? Doesn't it seem crazy that you can make amends but not one amend? If you have a bunch of odds and ends and get rid of all but one of them, what do you call it?

If teachers taught, why didn't preachers praught? If a vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a humanitarian eat? Sometimes I think all the English speakers should be committed to an asylum for the verbally insane. In what language do people recite at a play and play at a recital? Ship by truck and send cargo by ship? Have noses that run and feet that smell?

How can a slim chance and a fat chance be the same, while a wise man and a wise guy are opposites? You have to marvel at the unique lunacy of a language in which your house can burn up as it burns down, in which you fill in a form by filling it out and in which, an alarm goes off by going on.

English was invented by people, not computers, and it reflects the creativity of the human race, which, of course, is not a race at all.  That is why, when the stars are out, they are visible, but when the lights are out, they are invisible.

A TWO-LETTER WORD, sent in by Jim Dwyer

There is a two-letter word that perhaps has more meanings than any other two-letter word, and that is "UP."

It's easy to understand
UP, meaning toward the sky or at the top of the list, but when we awaken in the morning, why do we wake UP ?  At a meeting, why does a topic come UP ?  Why do we speak UP?  And why are the officers UP for election?  And why is it UP to the secretary to write UP a report ?

We call
UP our friends.  And we use it to brighten UP a room, polish UP the silver; we warm UP the leftovers and clean UP the kitchen.  We lock UP the house and some guys fix UP the old car.   At other times the little word has real special meaning.  People stir UP trouble, line UP for tickets, work UP an appetite, and think UP excuses. To be dressed is one thing, but to be dressed UP is special.

And this
UP is confusing:  A drain must be opened UP because it is stopped UP. We open UP a store in the morning but we close it UP at night.

We seem to be pretty mixed
UP about UP ! To be knowledgeable about the proper uses of UP, look the word UP in the dictionary.  In a desk-sized dictionary, it takes UP almost 1/4th of the page and can add UP to about thirty definitions. If you are UP to it, you might try building UP a list of the many ways UP is used.  It will take UP a lot of your time, but if you don't give UP, you may wind UP with a hundred or more. When it promises to rain, we say it is clouding UP.  When the sun comes out we say it is clearing UP..

When it rains, it wets the earth and often messes things
UP.  When it doesn't rain for awhile, things dry UP.

One could go on and on, but I'll wrap it
UP, for now my time is UP, so.........it is time to shut UP!

From Asher Aziz, Love Ministries of Pakistan:

Greetings from Pakistan!

I believe that you ,your family and Ministry are safe and sound in Jesus Christ.

I could not receive the magazine from you till now that you sent us before by post. And I want tell you one good news that we through Love Ministries of Pakistan have helped some children in village. There were some Christian Children and some were Muslims. We are very happy to share the love of Jesus Christ with Muslims children as well. We have provided them educational tools (full stationary). I thankful to God from the core of hearts that it is God who arrange and encouraged our people and the prayers invoked the church people to share for this help and so this tour to assist children became possible.

I am just want to share the testimony that before 2 months we started school in this village. And we had no building and place and we took start from the shadows of tree. And we have no furniture as well. Children bring their sheets from their houses and spread on the ground to sit. In this way we took initiative for the school. Believing in God we hired 2 teachers over there. These 2 teachers are also believers and they didn't bother about the pay and we asked them that we will pay you as God arranges. In this way we took initiative for this work. Believe me that. And I thankful to God from the core of hearts that it is God who arrange. In this way through help we have given salary to 2 teachers and we have now 75 children there and we helped them that are studying in the school now. And I believe that the next month more children will be increased. Many children are not coming in the school because lack of teachers. Because we can't pay for more teachers and school is facing this problem. There should be at least 12 to 15 teachers needed for small or normal type of school. On the other hand there are few Muslim children as well. And we think that when Muslims children see Christian children and atmosphere. They impressed and that receive Christian values which lead them toÉ know about Jesus Love. And this is the best way to introduce Jesus to Muslims. Because we have a morning prayers in school assembly first. Children were very happy and teachers as well when we told them about you and your Ministry that is being given to you. Because parents and children were thinking that the school may closed as teachers are not getting salaries. Because they were working for the school voluntarily for last two months. After all they have to feed their children so they also have to work and need salary.

On the other hand we are very thankful to our Lord and Jesus Christ who had done all for many. And we have further believe in God and we are not afraid even the satan is trying to seduce us as summer season is coming and there scorching because of sun shine in summer and parents are worried now that how our children will survive to sit open air. We still have faith on God that He will make a way for this as well.

There is request that please sit for prayers with usÉ in front of God for all this arrangement that they need before summer.

I am sending you some pictures with attachments that we helped the children.

Blessings,

***

From Nathan Merritt:

I deeply appreciate and admire you. I do in fact love you, though I have not yet met you in the flesh. Love/God so strongly emanates from you, even in your writings, that I am moved to tears. Why am I telling you this? For nearly twenty years now I have been pretty much "on my own" spiritually. I have had a few very minor teachers along the way, but mainly I have been on my own in my spiritual journey. Self-taught. Now I've met someoneÉwhom I know is the genuine article. My spirit resonates so strongly with yours, and when I read your words I am humbled and realize that I still need a TeacherÉ. I deeply desire to be taught by you. Your books and essays pierce me to the core of my being and lift my spirit into the "heavens" so to speak, as well as clear the remaining junk out of my mind and heartÉ.

I am very grateful for your allowing me to join your Healing Circle as well as your marvelous e-love group. Especially since I was such an unbelievable arrogant jerk when I introduced myself to you. I am so very sorry for being such a presumptuous arrogant clod. Thank you for forgiving me and befriending me despite my many warts.

I wish I could actually attend classes that you hold, but am pleased and blessed to be able to read your wonderful booksÉ. I have much to learn, and so again I thank you for taking me on as an unofficial studentÉ.

I wish for good and loving people and events in your life my dear teacher of divine love, and for Ada Maria as well. How fortunate are those who are able to associate with you both face-to-face. If you would like to spare five or ten minutes now and then on the phone with me, I would be very glad indeed. If so, please re-send your phone number as I lost it when I uninstalled and reinstalled AOL. I would not make a pest of myself, but would simply enjoy your gentle company every now and then when you can spare a few minutes.

Much love and respect to you,É Your grateful student,

From Love Ministries USA to Pati:

I share some doubt about psychism, and know that there are many frauds.  I am not a psychic, but a mystic.  So, I follow the ancient and venerable path of Hinduism, as a part of intercultural mysticism.  I also follow Buddhism and Taoism, as well as gnosticism in Christianity, kabbalism in Judaism, and Sufism in Islam.

I do not believe that your experiences with numbers are anything less than genuine synchronicity.  Numbers are one of the "languages" that the great Unconscious uses to communicate with us, in dreams, for example.  To understand its numerological meaning, you must first "reduce" any number to a single numeral (the "numerals" are one through nine.)  The meanings of the numerals are:

one-- the Absolute, God, or Mind.

two-- duality, division, separation, or illusion.

three-- a higher degree of unity, based upon having passed through the experience of duality or illusion

four-- earth-energies (taurus, virgo, capricorn), strength, economy, pentacles, etc.

five-- the number of the human nature

six-- transition from the human (five) to the Spirit (seven).

seven-- spirituality.

eight-- double strength or infinity.

nine-- the end of an important life-cycle

I noticed that your email also contains numbers.  May I ask their origin?

From Kathy Rice:

Dearest Shi,

I'm also sorry for you that such a close friend has left this world and I'm sure you will both miss him greatly and celebrate his life throughout yours, which hopefully will be a long and healthy life.  Perhaps you will see him in your dreams as he was before his illness, happy and now free. I'm glad to hear it was a peaceful passing.  I will be sending you much energy, comfort, and ease of travel as you make your way to Atlanta and

safely home again.

I'm happy to hear that you might have Teresa and friends at your Pneumarium... she's a wonderful person and I'm sure you two will greatly enjoy each other's company.  Yes sadly our church family is going through some difficulty.  There seems to be fear in change, and fear in not changingÉ.  But I guess we are all learning, all growing, and at times we all miss a step now and then.

I sent this little poem I wrote out to our Minister the other day:

The Great Whatever

Envision

Treat

Move your feet to do whatever you can to ALLOW your vision to manifest.

Then above all. TRUST and hold NO attachment to the end result

For need is just another form of fear

Relax in the TRUTH

That this and even Greater things will God do through you

For the Universe is a[n] Amazing place filled with wonders you can not yet

Imagine.

DEEDS OF LOVE AND TRUST, sent in by Geoffrey Stoermer

Deeds of trust have to be connected to our heart, that place within us that realizes truth.

When we trust something that we know to be true, not from our ego or wanting it to be true, but rather, something that deep down we know is true for us, we begin to walk our talk.

WHY JOKES ARE FORWARDED, sent in by Jim Dwyer

Sometimes, we wonder why friends keep forwarding jokes to us without writing a word.  Maybe this will explain:  When you are very busy, but still want to keep in touch, guess what you do?  You forward jokes.  When you have nothing to say, but still want to keep contact, you forward jokes.  When you have something to say, but don't know what, and don't know how, you forward jokes.  Also to let you know that you are still remembered, you are still important, you are still loved, you are still cared for, guess what you get?

A forwarded joke!:)  So, next time if you get a joke, don't think that you've been sent just another forwarded joke, but that you've been thought of today and your friend on the other end of your computer wanted to send you a smile.

A POEM ,sent in by Steven McDaniel

THIS MORNING

What I have always been looking for without
has always been here within.

It can't be seen because it hides
as nothing: too near for a view.

But I swear to Jesus and Buddha
and all the saints of the forest
that that nothing is everything.

Few go there so near the source
of their own Beauty, few go nowhere
and everywhere into the unseen.

Breathless,
into Presence, no form-
few go because they think
they can't say the right words
and confess inside that if they can't go
(and let go) they will will their will to die:
to go if the Presence won't come.

It is that important to go nowhere
and be what is Real and free.

All around, that is what is happening
anyway, especially when you study.

Everything is dying to love
and to know they are love
though few can see it with steady heart.

Everything is nothing,
and that nothing is everything;
a most awesome Beauty
of the eternal One inside.

Another poem from Steven McDaniel

WHEN AS CHILDREN

When as children
did we not live in transcendence?
We rose from the dead
and from those who were dying to love
into a light of the world,
and even our mouths transcended
into voice like a piano into tones.
Now, even the idea plagues us
to go back beyond all knowing
where the composer conducts
a melody of the midnight stars.
That which shines forth but seldom,
moves, if ever, is our stay at rest
like the mountain and sky, and our simple,
unkempt bed of quiet repose
that even encloses our rest.
We came as a prayer and opening
for those who falter at openings,
the ones who cannot hear the hearing
or see beyond eyes to the unseen.
There is always work and service
to the Immortal Beauty of source, a life to give
beyond all of this fractured living.
Glory, glory, glory of love outreaching lovers!
It is the only food and healing,
the pulse in things of what we are-
the one life which is in itself, a flower
transcended into petals and scent,
until our senses fall, let go for good
and lift back toward a pure air.
We are the prayers to transcend the world,
thoughts and things.
We have always been this sound
beyond all speaking, a sea of birdsong
bursting from small islands and green stations
in early summer of the rising pines.

Death as Grace

Sister Death,

Thou awaitest 'round every corner

And lieth in wait around each bend.

With each breath,

I know thee dearer. And in former

Lives also With thee, there is no end.

They say that   thou art the end, but thou art not.

Death blazes in glorious, fantastic vision,

Swirling in universes of color bright.

A moment in eternity these lives have "bought."

Sweet death, like sweet life, is a part of our mission.

We climb, life after life, from darkness to Light.

In that Light, let us embrace death as dear friend,

Celebrating her as part of life,

Never-ending, never stopping.

This moment is eternal life without end,

If we float above the pain and strife.

Cease "monkey" mind's  non-stop hopping.

SCIENCE AND SCIENTISM, sent in by Nathan Merritt

I don't trust mainstream science and mainstream scientists.  Why?  Science has degenerated into a religion-- Scientism.  Scientists have become the new priesthood, the new "JuJu Men"-- the holy experts at understanding and explaining reality.  Just as people did with the primitive "JuJu Men" of old, modern people sheepishly submit to the oracular pronouncements of the new priesthood.  To question the consensual reality that Scientism and it's priesthood of JuJu Men have concocted and foisted upon the world via the media is a faux pas of frightening proportions to most. "They're experts!  They know all about stuff; and their reasoning abilities are far greater than yours and mine!"

Yet, time and time again a "scientific fact" has been resentfully altered when enough actual facts accumulated to the point that the JuJu Men could no longer ignore the evidence or fight those who champion the facts.  Hence, Newtons' physics had to make room for Einsteins' physics, and Einstein has had to give way to string theory.  Eugenics had to give way to genetics.  A geocentric cosmos had to give way to a heliocentric cosmos; the heliocentric cosmos had to give way to a Milky Way Galaxy centered cosmos; and the galactic centered cosmos had to give way to a cosmos with no center at all.  Time, once considered an actual entity, a linear and universal constant, had to give way to relativity.  This included the understanding that time is a function of speed relative to an observer, and has no actual objective existence.

None of these advances came easily.  The JuJu Establishment fought these changes tooth and nail, and persecuted and silenced most dissenters, as it continues to do today. Science does not march onward.  Rather, it stands still as a fortress, fiercely attacking anyone who questions its Oracular Pronouncements, and digging in for the long haul.  It is almost a miracle that any change has ever come to Scientism, given the religious nature and awe-filled authority the average person gives its scientific leaders, who are themselves mere mortals-- not "gods."

So, I laugh at such vapid "know-it-alls," who defend Scientism and attack the idea of God. Blowhards such as Penn and Teller (Who don't seem to be able to distinguish between Theism in general and a belief in a specific deity and "holy book"), or the Amazing Randi (who has a very disturbing skeleton in his closet), or any arrogant JuJu Man know-it-all whose worldview is as fluid as granite.  Real science should be nondogmatic and fluid, open to questioning and evidence, not hostile to the point of persecution and censure.

I laugh when the JuJu Men of Scientism tell me, "There is no God."  Really?  They've explored the entire universe?  They've determined there are no universes other than this one?  They've placed God under a microscope and discovered God doesn't exist?  I laugh especially hard when I read such idiocy of Scientism as "There once existed nothing...no space, no matter, no energy, no physical laws, nothing.  Then, out of its own nonexistent nothingness, the universe brought itself into existence."  I'm not making this up, folks!  I wish I were.  The JuJu Men who laugh at the idea of God--usually a silly version of God they learned as children and they've never used their adult mind to find an adult idea of God--present us with an idea far weirder and downright more irrational, illogical, and just plain stupid than a belief in God.  A nonexistent cosmos brought itself into existence from nothing!  That is current "Big Bang" theory!  If you give this lunacy even a few moments' thought you too will say "The king isn't wearing any clothes!"

I am a rational and logical being of above-average intelligence and education.  Those of you on my email list probably are too.  Yet, even a person of average intelligence can see the unreason of the "scientific" alternative to an acceptance of God, whether one is a Theist, Deist, Pantheist, or Panentheist.

There is nothing scientific about JuJu Scientism.  God is beyond the realm and scope of science since God cannot be placed under a microscope or spectrometer, or observed in a telescope.  Science is empirical and is limited to empirical data.  By the very definition of science, real science has nothing to say about God one way or the other because God is outside the scope of real science.  However, that doesn't stop the JuJu Men and the religion of Scientism from pummeling anyone who disagrees and points out their track record, their persecution of those who differed (and were later shown to be correct), and it's irrational unscientific pronouncements about philosophical and spiritual issues beyond it's scope.

Science is good.  Scientism, however, is an authority structure with a hierarchy, holy scriptures, and a highly involved belief system-- one that involves acceptance of a self-creating universe that created itself out of absolutely nothing, with no motive force, before it even existed in any form! LMFAO! I interact online with some of these haughty people who flash their JuJu Society Membership Card when I press them into a corner.  They tell me that I must submit to them because they're EXPERTS!  LMFAO AGAIN!

Question "authority"-- ALL "authority," including religious "authority." (Religion has an even worse track record than Scientism.)  If you do, you'll never be someone's tool or chump.

THE CURE FOR BEE, WASP, AND HORNET STINGS, sent in by Maureen Dwyer

This information might be something good to remember, as the season of summer will soon be here again.  It might be wise to carry a small copper coin in your pocket while working outside, or in the yard. !

A couple of weeks ago, I was stung by both a bee and a hornet while I was working in the garden.  My arm swelled up, so I went to the doctor.  The clinic gave me cream and an antihistamine.  The next day, the swelling was getting  progressively worse, so I went to my regular doctor. The arm was Infected  and needed an antibiotic.  The doctor told me, "The next time that you get  stung, put a copper coin on the bite for 15 minutes."

That night, my niece was stung by two bees.  I looked at the stings and they had already started to swell.  So, I taped a penny to her arm.  I left it there for fifteen minutes.  The next morning, there was no sign of a bite.

We decided that she just wasn't allergic to the sting.

Later, I was gardening outside.  I got stung again, twice, by a hornet, on my left hand.  I thought, Here I go again to the doctor for another antibiotic.

I promptly taped two pennies to my stings, then sat and sulked for 15 minutes.  The penny took the sting out immediately.

In the meantime, the hornets were again attacking, and my friend was stung on the thumb.  Again, the penny.  The next morning, no redness, no swelling.  You couldn't even tell where she had been stung.  She got stung again a few days later upon her back; and the penny worked once again.  The doctor said that the copper in the small copper coin counteracts the sting.  It definitely works!

CURE FOR COUGHS, sent in by Jim Dwyer.

During a lecture on Essential Oils, they told us how the foot soles can absorb oils.  Their example:  Put garlic on your feet and, within twenty minutes, you can 'taste' it.

Some of us have used Vick's Vaporub for everything from chapped lips to sore toes and many body parts in between.  To stop night time coughing in a child or adult, rub Vicks Vaporub generously on the bottom of the feet at bedtime, then cover with socks. Even persistent, heavy, deep coughing will stop in about 5 minutes, and stay stopped for many, many hours of relief.  Works 100% of the time and is more effective in children than even very strong prescription cough medicines.  In addition, it  is extremely soothing and comforting; and they will sleep soundly.

My wife tried it when she had a very deep constant and persistent cough and it worked.  She said that it felt like a warm blanket had enveloped her, coughing stopped in a few minutes and this was a deep, (incredibly annoying!)  every few seconds uncontrollable cough, and she slept cough-free for hours every night that she used it.
